Brian Maring

Accountant

Brian joined BAKER SPINDLER HOLTZ in June 2007.  He focuses on tax and accounting compliance services for closely-held businesses and their owners, as well as a number of consulting services including inventory control, cash-flow planning and fraud prevention and detection.

Brian holds a BBA in accounting information management from Davenport University. He is currently enrolled in Grand Valley State University’s masters program and is studying to pass the CPA exam.  Brian’s professional memberships include the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants and the Michigan Association of Certified Public Accountants. 

Outside of work, Brian is a sportsman and enjoys golf and other outdoor activities, as well as spending time with his wife, family and friends. Brian is an active committee member of the Grand Rapids Ducks Unlimited chapter.
